Meet the band.

Meet Liam

A musician, songwriter, guitarist, and unapologetic audiophile, Liam is driven by a fascination with every aspect of the creative process, from the first spark of an idea to the final mix. He approaches every song with restless curiosity, sharp instincts, and a refusal to leave well enough alone.

As the founder, primary songwriter, and guitarist of The Conundrum, Liam is the creative engine behind much of the band’s music. He builds the songs from the ground up—shaping the riffs, melodies, structures, lyrics, and sonic details that define the band’s identity. His writing pulls from decades of alternative rock, post-punk, noise, and art rock, then twists those influences into something darker, more melodic, and distinctly The Conundrum.

His guitar playing lives in the space between control and chaos: angular riffs, jagged bursts of distortion, melodic leads, and solos that push the song forward rather than stopping it in its tracks. He is always chasing the right collision of noise, tension, hooks, and emotion—the moment when a song feels dangerous but still impossible to forget.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Liam brings a deep foundation in performance, composition, theory, and music history to the band. But he is equally shaped by years spent digging through records, studying the bands that broke the rules, and listening closely to why certain songs still sound alive decades later.

Whether he is leading the band through a new arrangement, tearing apart a nearly finished track, or disappearing into the noise onstage, Liam is always pushing The Conundrum toward something bigger, stranger, and more honest.

For him, music is not background. It is the whole point. It isn't just something you hear—it's something you feel.
